  1. Thanks for this great news! I wonder what music it will be.

I have two questions about something else:

    1. In May she will sing Norma in Salzburg. Does anyone know if this will be broadcasted, just like they did with Giulio Cesare last year?

    2. Last year in September, Cecilia was on the TV-Show Vivement Demanche on France 2. She performed the aria 'Piu non v'ascondo'. I couldn't watch the video on the website because of area restricions. But Im still so curious about the performance. Does anyone know if it can be watched somewhere else or can someone download the video on the site so I can watch it too. Ive looked for ages but I cant find the performance anywhere else.

    Thank you!

    1. I asked Cecilia whether there would be a broadcast from Salzburg this year. She said she didn't know.

  3. Behle will sing in Alcina in 2015 in Brussels so is well possible he recorded Alcina with Cecilia now in January. Great to know a new CD is already in the making, probably for end of this yesar.

  4. So much news all at once. I very much enjoyed the Giulio Cesare on medici.tv and was hoping for a repeat with Norma.

    1. Last week I found this, let's hope its true!:

Very interesting! I found something else about the Norma recording. This is an article about John Osborn. It says the release is expected to be in Spring:

He recorded Pollione in NORMA with the Scintilla Orchestra, along with a star-studded cast including Cecilia Bartoli in the title role, Michele Pertusi as Oroveso, and Sumi Jo as Adalgisa. Release is expected around the spring of 2013 in conjunction with a new production by Moshe Leiser and Patrice Cournier at the Whitsun Festival in Salzburg, Austria.
