On the joys of travelling by boat...

Just translated an interview about travel with Cecilia from La Repubblica newspaper a couple of days ago. It doesn't say anything earth-shattering, but it is a pleasant ode to the joys of travelling on water:

  1. Thanks Graham for doing so. Nice read! I really can imagine Cecilia standing on the ceiling and sings out loud.... hopefully not "My heart will go on" :-) Or she screams "I am the queen of the (Baroque)World" Greetings Koile

  2. Also I do not like planes and no airports. Stress, narrowness, poor air, terrible food and mostly unpleasant traveling companions. So I do not want to travel.
Moreover, how can you bring wine, oil and cheese from the trip countries in the airplane?
For me, one of the main reasons for never to fly on the continent: The gigantic fuel consumption per person. Compared to aircraft each 8-cylinder sports car is an environmental car.
